    I’m waiting on one.
    Shipping is now Sep/Oct.

The factory charging handle is left side only.
Also from the pics it’s not a big handle. So I’m avoiding any scopes or scope mounts that have large bolts on the left side.
Saves on scraped fingers or knuckles.

Dogmatix, any thoughts on the manufacturer? I haven't read anything bad about them online.
I'm very close to pulling the proverbial trigger and putting my deposit down.

Similarly I've only heard good things in general about UTAS.
I can't see what could go wrong with the exception of twisting and breaking the charging handle rod by accident, as its not designed as solid and to be used as often as say an AK
Guess its trial and error time.

From memory the UTAS-15 shotgun was an absolute lemon.

I had forgotten about that abomination.

Well, building a decent AR (even a straight pull) shouldn't be too hard. Norinco excluded.

My Norinco uppered A1 clone was my favourite rifle. So accurate and smooth shooting.
