i like it being able to shoot 22 through it, happen to have a conversion bolt lying around.

Silly me handed my CMMG .22lr 14" barrel, bolt, charging handle, shell deflector, Black dog mags in, as part of a dedicated AR.

Duh.

Ive ordered the extended 10/30 mag from DM for nostalgia purposes.

I have Vari-Xiii 3.5-10 LRT M3, the forerunner to the Mark 4 in a Vortex 30mm mount.
More practical than an ACOG.

has anyone have any inside info of how close it's to the landing dates etc? this really reminds me of the old days on the overnight trips, knocking a few goats during the day then at night changes to a 22 bolt for posums.
