New price at Shunned Shop is 3300.
70% of $3200 is between $2100 and $2400 depending on accessories like sling swivels, mounts, etc Used to be that optilocks came with them standard.
I wouldn't take anything more off for scratches and dents or a bit of rust on the bluing, but maybe would if the factory barrel has been shortened. The Bavarian stock and set trigger may count against it in some eyes but if a buyer talks about those the gun is not for them. As you know, the barrel will do at least 2500 rounds more like 5000 so don't worry about the round count.
If people try to bargain down the cash price, try and keep it up by offering unneeded accessories like the used brass, maybe dies, 308 cleaning gear which is all worth money to the buyer.

I bought an immaculate 6.5x55 Bavarian 4 years ago for $2200 (Rings the only extras). I was interested to see a similiar rifle with a Zeiss scope (from memory) sell for approx $1800 on tm a couple of months ago - I wondered if wood/blued rifles have fallen out of fashion completely, or is it just economic uncertainty holding people back from buying?
