    That's interesting.. I don't think I'd have a specific use for mine. It would definitely shoot rabbits (shortish range) and hopefully goats/wallabies. I was thinking 12.5" barrel suppressed.. Unless someone tells me I'm an idiot for getting a 12.5" barrel
    The Windham Varmint would be quite heavy??

    If you can try out an AR or two with different barrel lengths it would be good. 12.5 is a short barrel for .223. You will notice quite a velocity drop in comparison with 16 or 18 inch. Lots of noise and flame without the suppressor also OK I cant say thats a problem for me. My 7.62x39 AR makes quite a flame

    My NEA at 14.5" is pretty heavy. Apparently button cut barrel but not bull barrel. Whatever that means. If anyone knows please enlighten me. Irregardless what was supposed to be my light weight 14.5" bush rifle turned out to be a heavy weight. Irregardless. Shoots good
