    Value of second hand barrel

I am asking on behalf. What do you think would be a fair price for this? It came off a Sako A7 .270
It has been fluted and cut and threaded in 14x1. As you can see it’s short. If anyone knows a fair price I’ll list it up for sale it needs a bit of a clean, but should scrub up nice.

    Cheers

Tikka/Sako take off barrels generally go around 100-200 bucks.

15-16 inchs or thereabouts. They look shorter removed. Some serious flutes who did them?

I’ll give it a good clean and take better photos. Original owner had a senator carbon stock installed, and I believe had them cut and flute the barrel at the same time. He thought it was too short so had a true flight barrel installed instead

$100-$200 is about right but depends on round count and calibre.

270win isn't a particularly popular clambering for a rebarrel or ability to ream to a different cartridge.
The likes of 7mm08 is more popular as it can be reamed out to 284win which is popular.

Not many will touch sako barrels for rechambering regardless id say it would be nearer the $100 end as its a a not optimum length undesired barrel. It's very niche
