Thread: Varmint rifle for about that 350m max range?

The 85gr lost 678fps and the 130gr lost only 580fps, so the 85gr is slowing down faster as Tussock predicted.
Im sure if you run the numbers from 300-800 or similar we will see what tussock was saying, in that the lighter faster projectile generally only has an advantage at short distances as it sheds its velocity quickly by comparison to a heavier, higher BC projectile.
