Vixen 2-8x32
Anyone got one of these specifically the BDC reticle model? Looking for a nice lightweight compact scope with the ability to reach out a bit to go on a Forbes 243. Seems that this type of thing is hard to come by, other option would be 2.5-8x36 cds leupold but I’m keen to just stick to a reticle rather than dialling and to be honest the more I have used VX3’s lately the more I am actually quite disappointed with their finicky eye boxes.

Reloaders currently have a good deal on them, worth snapping one up? https://www.reloaders.co.nz/shop/Opt...BDC+82071.html

Daughter has a 2-7-36 leopold she might b talked into selling

Does it have a LR reticle?

I had one on a Howa Mini, I found it better than the Leupold Vari-Xii it replaced.

Have a VX2 2-7x33mm with S1 turret if ya change your mind on dialling.

What @Dusty Fog said... The BDC reticle is okay for long shots on faraway critters but may be a bit on the feint side for snap shots in the thick stuff. If you don't need to dial, the Vixen scopes are worth every penny though.

Hmm made in Japan? That looks very very similar to my Nikon Monarch 2-8x32BDC.

I had Monarch 2-8x32, nice scope for day hunting but I found the recital to be a little grey which made spotlighting or looking into deep shade hard as the recital blended in
However my monarch 3's 1-4x20 and 4-16x44 ?? have very black crisp recitals that are easy to pickup in low light.
