What's the deal with the Vortex range of scopes, looking for a cheap usefull backup/spare scope, who is using them and what do you reckon?

I recently got the diamondback and thinks its great, I do recommend them. Not sure about the crossfire, was going to get one of those but I got a good deal on the diamondback so for a bit more coin went with that

Got a crossfire 3-9x40 and the diamondback 4-12x40 with bdc......
rate the diamondback as a good scope, it's on my .223.
Diamondback has the edge optically, on just though. .....
and I like the bdc reticle, my crossfire scope isn't used much anymore, just on my 7mmRemMag which is a safe queen at the mom, ent.
I haven't used the Vortex LRBC yet....
I just got a ziess hd5. ..so mucking around with that on my 284....
but the diamondback is on my .223 and will be back into the goats and fallow after the roar......so will look into it then....
I have a crossfire II 6-18x44 on my .223 and its awesome AO is very nice for shooting hares at distance. My mate has a Diamondback in 4-12x40 and we compared that to the Crossfire II in the same zoom and it was very close, but the diamondback seemed ever so slightly clearer to our eyes. I now also have a Viper PST 6-24x50 on my 300 win mag and that is awesome!!
Crossfire 11 on my 308, sparc on my sks, and looking at a diamondback for the 223 outstanding value for money. Have has the sparc repaired under warranty after ripping the switch cover on barbed wire no problem at all and back in 2 weeks just for the cost of postage.
My crossfire 2 in 3-9x40 is great, very tough and very waterproof, holds zero. Good at picking up light, you can see through the scope but not with your naked eye on when dusk gets dark. My mates leupold was slightly brighter though.
