    Vudoo Gunworks . 22

A mate and I are looking at importing a couple variants of these rifles.

Anyone on here got one? Heard of at least 1 in NZ.

Not worried about quality as they review really well just any import hassles.

    Cheers.

I have 1. Got it from Rhinosport in Aussie.

No problems getting it other that a long wait for permits, particularly the export permit out of Aussie.

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

How long for the permits? We are in no hurry but if longer than 6 months I may buy them when next over stateside and bring them home.

Bergara would be my poor man's option.

Gunsnz are also bringing them in if you don't want the hassle of importing.

Good to know, thanks. Will see what GunsNZ come up with first. Will work out a lot cheaper to bring them back with me from the States or Canada so that might be the go.

I have one of Greg’s. It’s a laser with CCI Standard. I have it in a DPT chassis but moving to a Hi-Tec carbon.
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

What sort of price do you think you are able to bring one back for?
What sort of process is it to bring one back with you?
Or do you have Canadian/US residency?

I am a Canadian but that is irrelevant. My brother who lives there will buy them in Seattle or Vancouver I will pay the US dollar value with my tips from guiding and then I will just get an import permit for here and fly them home in a double gun case after my hunting season. Quite simple really. A lot of fellas that guide over there have done the same. As long as what you are importing are on the NZ firearms register (already imported and cleared) its all good.

I bought my collection back from Canada when I returned to NZ and used an export agent who regularly exported firearms and parts globally in Canada. ( export permits are required if you want to export them out of Canada. ) The exporter used Korean airlines as they have no issues with carrying firearms and they go via South Korea ( Seoul ) rather than the US. You want to avoid the shipment transiting through the US. Overall it was a smooth exercise.
