Possibly but its not a problem Iv ever had,a bad fall will munt any tube so if your look at how many times a 30mm tube wont bend when an inch one would I wouldnt give it any points at all. If it was an armed forces situation where lives may be at stake then any advantage no matter how small becomes relevant.Bit like the S&B PMII, it offers a level of reliability/robustness I just dont need or am prepared to pay for in terms of weight and bulk.I know others are and thats cool.
