    VX2 zerp stop

Putting my zero stop ball bearing in but as you can see the post that stops against the ball isnt quite aligned with the marks. Question: can that ring with the post on it move? If so how. If not whats the best tool to take a bit off the left side?

Safest method to move it right a tiny bit? Tap it around?

Carefully Lift it off with a flat bladed screwdriver by levering evenly around underneath it

    Lift up then reposition

Mark old position so you can reposition it accurately once removed

Mmm ok now the post in is the right place but the turret when secured back on doesn't feel very good. Does that ball bearing need to be in flush with the top of the recess? Or maybe that ring isn't on enough.......

The ball is slightly proud. Is this the issue?

Ball needs to sit slightly proud, so it 'clicks' into place, when going back to zero position IMO.
If it's hitting a 'post', then ball will stop ring from moving when in position.Or it needs a drop of lube, to smooth the turns.
    My $0.02 worth.

Nah its like the ball is rubning around the edges of the slot the post runs in.
Should have left well enough alone ha ha
