    I tried the ball bearing and like you it didn't feel quite right. Wasn't smooth to turn, wasn't in the right place so just ordered the CDS dial with the zero stop and never looked back.

    @MassiveAttack and @Gibo. Where do you order a cds with zero stop from? Or /and, where do you get the tiny ball bearing from?

    Thanks @Gibo. I was also wondering if the prising off and moving of the bearing ring with the post on it could compromise the gas seals?

    This is interesting because I checked my VX3 cds and VXr patrol (mils) and AR Mod 1.(mils). All are the same setup and all could have a b bearing zero stop fitted assuming no harm caused by doing so.
