Vx3 zero stop mod any tips or advice ?

So I have a vx3 4.5-14x40 CDS and I'm looking at doing the zero stop mod that I've seen on here.
Anyone who has done this got any tips or advice ?
Looking at my dial and scope if I install either a plastic post or ball bearing in the hole that is pre drilled in the cap it will mean my "zero" is effectively 3 clicks up so that it will allow 1 full rotation (60 clicks) before hitting the stop

So if you see the stopper on the scope it sits directly in line with the indicator mark on the scope body.
I seem to remember reading somewhere the piece the stopper is on is press fit. So could I lever it off and move it around so the the ball bearing or post can be fitted to the cap and then allow the zero to sit on zero ? Hope that makes sense ?
Also can anyone advise the best option for a ball bearing or plastic post to fit into the cap ?

Ring NZ Asia in Nelson and see if they will send you the correct ball bearing. Install it into that hole firmly seated and then try it out. The zero stop ring installed on your scope can be moved if required. One edge of the stop on the ring should line up with the white line on the scope, sorry cant remember if its the left or right edge. The hole in the cap is in the correct place.

Good to know it can be moved if required that would mess with my ocd if zero wasn't zero
Thank you @Mathias I know this has been asked before just needed it simplified for my brain.

Just rang and spoke to Dave @ NZ Asia trading in Nelson and he was good enough to send me a couple of ball bearings straight away so should have before weeks end, happy to pass on the extra one if someone else needs 1, I should add David was very careful to point out that the hole in the cap may not correspond with the zero on the dial.

Yeah just jimmy a flat head under the ring carefully all the way around, like taking off a paint tin lid, but carefully like its made of glass

I need to do it on my VX3. Would love the spare one if it's available.
