    Vx3i cds Zero stop.

My moa turret turned up and when fitting to my scope I realized I'd made to mistake that my scope is zero stop not zero lock model. The new cap is zero lock. Is it possible to modify the scope to make the zero lock turret work?. I have no issues using a zero stop turret either so am open to doing a swap if someone has managed to make the same mistake as me.
    Cheers.

Phone NZ Asia and get them to send you the little ball bearing that turns it into a zero-stop turret.

Cheers, Would that work as the turret i have is the zero lock, with the silver button you push in to enable it to turn?

Hmm, if you have the external silver button that is the ZL model.

Not sure how those work sorry, my comment was about the older style VX3 with the internal ball bearing.

I have an early vx6 with an older style non- ZL cds system that had to sent to Australia to get the ZL cds added. Works great though...

@rossm-96 who did you get this done through? Direct with NIOA in Australia or through the NZ agent whoever that is?
    Cheers

Through NZ Asia, the NZ agent. Sent it to them in Nelson at my cost, they sent it to ‘Oz, got the work done and returned it to me for $320ish. Took about a month. The bonus was it came back as a ZL2 turret (2 turns past the zero stop). Not sure if they can do this to a VX3 though. My vx6 had the older turret with the zero stop created with 2 sided tape which was a hassle if changing loads etc so it is a big improvement. Well worth the money on a vx6, perhaps not with a vx3.
