Gday. Just wanting some feedback on these with how they are holding up on the higher powered bang sticks. Heavier recoiled 300,338 etc etc. Are they handling them ok?

I had a vx-6 it had good optics . the turrets were very disapointing. It lost its zero in the bush once. Sold it and brought a nightforce. had it on a 7mm rem mag so didnt kick like that.
Perfectly fine, from freezing cold to serious heat in 40+ degrees Celsius, flawless performance

I like mine. No problems.
I havent fucked mine yet and I am a rough c..t.
The turret can move if carried in say a elberstock pack or similar or on a sling but that is true of any turret.
Are most of you running the 50 mm or the 44mm?
44
42
Great scopes.
Mine are both 44mm.
Just got mine from america, 3-18x44 cds-zl firedot windplex. Only been to the range with it for sight in, the elevation turret was fine in terms of audible clicks i thought, not as bad as what i have been reading at all, tracked well on papper when sighting in, no field testing as of yet. So far bloody impressed with glass and package for the price. Cheers
Awesome, can you modify a standard 3-18x44 cds to get zero lock turrets?
Got one on,CDS ready to be done. zeroed in nice. Chase some animals with it tomorrow...

Looks good.
Really rate them, they are a no fuss hunting scope, good glass, dial perfect out to stupid distances, nice and light, look good, lifetime warranty. Can't go wrong
Very nice scope ,,, I just got the new tactical dials on mine and are looking forward to trying them out.

@L.T could you post some pictures of these turrets, seems to be very little information about them.
Got one on my 284....awesome glass, was looking at a clearing at 1100meters, awesome clarity.
Just need to send away for MOA CDS dials.
I recently just changed one on my 6XC for a nightforce only for the MOAR recticle.....I feel the VX 6 is on par with the SHV.
Here is two pictures the first is my personal turrets the second is a picture from leupold http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...83fb5a18d5.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...310d7eb0db.jpg

No the turrets clicks don't feel much different, they still feel mushy compared to the purpose built longrange scopes like Nightforce etc.... However they are nicer to use especially on the windage dial because the numbers are round the right way as you can see in the picture. I like them better than the standard CDS moa I had before these.
Still attaches to the existing adjustment stem so clicks will be unchanged
I specially ordered them from the leupold custom shop, as I think I had already used my free CDS voucher. It would be no fuss to send leupold an email and ask that question. In my experience very good customer service.
any different to the mk4? apart from the turret?
