Good question. I like the fact the 1885 has an external hammer. The No1 is the least refined. ( but still very useable).
The M10’s have in my opinion beautiful balance. They are petite, slick and superbly finished. If I was to have one for the action probably an M10. However that’s only one reason you have favorites. The 1885 was stocked by a NZ craftsman and has his blood sweat and tears in the build. That’s my emotional choice.
