I sporterized a SKS.
Wanted a Eotech 557 (when I was shooting a semi lots0 purely for the "W Factor"
Brought a rifle in from the US along with an Eotech 557 (the then latest model)
Dropped it the sight off a high shelf in the shed and its fucked, never even fired a shot with it.
Turns out I cant sent it back cause exporter just bolted it to the rifle rather than do the paperwork so I now have an expensive paperweight.
would have been better to just burn the $800 USD it cost.

We are just tidying up his will etc at the moment as he doesn't like either of his daughter in laws, his wife is silly enough to give a lot of the stuff away, and I made the mistake of going in the back shed . . . :D
