Thread: Want new gun but can't decide.

So, i have been able to talk myself into needing a new deer hunting rifle. Want more than need but thats just the way things are. Am CURRENTLY looking at the Tikka - Sako range as they are what I am familiar with, but open to ideas. It will be in .270win and will be kept for a good few years. Because of this I have basically opened my eyes and wallet up to anything around the value of a Sako 85 Finnlight.
Now a few points, (1) Im not a huge fan of mauser actions unless I know they will quickly smooth out. (2) Dont want to have to do much extra work, such as bedding etc. (3) Already have too many scopes so money will only be spent on the gun. Thought id mention that before a get a number of posts saying buy a T3 and throw a nightforce on it. To be honest T3's feel like BB guns, so no matter how good they are (and they are very good) i won't buy a gun that doesnt excite me between the knees
Let me know if there is anything else I should be keeping in mind. Will also be using a Bi pod on it too.
