I am in the process of purchasing a Weatherby Mark V (Hey Jman if you see this). I am curious if anyone has converted or know anyone who has converted a Mark V from the factory box magazine to a detachable magazine. Saw an outfit in the states was doing them way back but struggle to find anything recently. Cheers

Yup was my rifle and it is a ripper, personally I wouldn't bother with a mag conversion it holds 5 rounds in the floor plate mag which is ample for hunting, adding a drop out mag would ruin the nice clean lines of the rifle and add bulk right where you don't want it when carrying.Quote:
