    Weatherby parts

    Looking for a Mk 5 Ultralight mag spring for a 280. Mine just broke on me the other day...

    Try Steves wholesale they were the last distributor they may have one. Talk to Steve not just a minion

    Try a Mauser or Winchester one, quite a few long action ones are interchangeable or can be adapted

    Or Remington for that matter. You could also try weatherby directly. You could send them the spring as a broken part needing repair and they might send you one back for free.

    I'd do exactly that if you can't source anything locally . It is a Mk V after all.

    Have tried emailing Weatherby direct and Brownells. Have tried the lin in Steve wholesale page to the dealer that is listed. All with no luck yet. @garryp I will PM

    Nothing I've heard nothing. It was Brian Thomson who was also trying to help me and tried to contact them too as a dealer and had no luck.
