Anyone made a small weaver style base that will fit on the barrel of a Rossi 44 lever action? Need to mount a red dot as my eyes are no good for the open sights these days. Thanks

Are there tapped holes under the rear sight?
ring butchers in pleasant point and ask how they did theirs ......pretty sure its using something at about rear sight area....looked great but weird being forward...cant argue with its effectiveness.

I had sight mounted at the back of the rail. Also did a fair bit of work to the action... made a hell of a difference. If you want to know what I did PM me. Bit to much to write here.....k

I have a weaver rail on mine, but due to the tapper in the barrel, the rail points down hill??? I think the rail is a weaver 92A.
The gunworks ones are machined to match the barrel shape and taper exactly. Mine was a perfect fit.
