    Thanks guys , problem solved .
    It's just that I have bought a Picatinny style mount for my Blaser and was hoping to use a set of Burris rings that I already have , when alarm bells started going off in my memory banks about the differences between different manufactures .
    I'm confident now that my rings will fit when I receive the base .
