Just got back from a weekend hunt in the Ruahines and have discovered that my windage turrent cap has unscrewed itself and is nowhere to be seen.
What are my options here?

Umm.. buy a new cap??
Should be able to get one from agent
Nope sorry - try ringing Richard at Serious Shooters
They will laugh at you cos you imported it from natchez mate... BUT email natchez or weaver my bet is you will have one in the mail to you at no cost to you ahe.....
Emailed Sportsways, Natchez and Weaver USA - we will see who comes to play ball first.
If I can't track something down - I guess its not a huge bigee.... I can easily get some white medical tape and tape around the rest of the turret and draw on little dashes and number every fourth click etc. Similar to what I remember Norway doing to convert his MOA click values into MIL click values.
Atleast it's only the windage and I won't be winding any huge click values on... that's one postive I guess.
last year i had an oopsie trying to wind a turret out to far.. then tuiman turned up.. ill fix he said.... oh no the rough bastard had bits everywhere and mr tiny balls went flying... I emailed weaver and told what i/abe did... not a problem heres a whole new scope disnt even pay postage......
The NZ agents can source a replacement - waiting to hear back on details regading cost/delivery time frame.
In the mean time - I will put medical tape around the turret and mark little lines with a vivid. Will work fine so long as I can read my numbers etc. Wanting to keep my spare scope brand new.
Waiting to hear back from Weaver USA themselves as yet.
OOOKKKAAAYYY
Right so.. i see it like this.. you take the one off your spare scope and just use that......
Right now how do we not end up being pedantic here.... Oh thats right when the new turret arrives it will be brand new and go on the spare scope, i doubt even id know when the new one finally shows up that ud swapped them, and your not left in the lurch in the mean time..
Im happy, your happy, the deer? well the deer can now be dead
All sorted.... a parcel arrived this morning from Weaver USA for free.
Very impressed
That was quick
