Does anyone know if this is still possible or who I should contact about it? According to Weavers website they should have a lifetime warranty for the original owner and my Grandslam has fogged up today.

My mate had a Burris do that. Some 20 years old plus. Had all the original paperwork and lifetime warranty. Burris supplied a new scope.
Iirc Weaver no longer exist

Looks like they are history.I Have 3 steel body Weaver scopes and a modern one and always liked the old steel body versions.
Yea their dead and gone unfortunately insurance is your next option
Weaver was absorbed into Vista about 2014-15, and thereafter fell under the Bushnell brand for warranty.
Bushnell brand is owned by Ampro Sales in New Zealand.
I have found the guys Ampro to be very very helpful so I would start there.

Just...say...the...word
Thanks @Flyblown , thats exactly what I needed to know.
Let us know how you get on, I also have a Grandslam scope that's no longer working.
Cheers Chris
Emailed Ampro and got a pretty quick reply letting me know another outfit, Nioa, are the agents for Weaver. Despite Bushnell owning Weaver, they are apparently still treated as separate entities for suppliers. I sent an email to Nioa this morning, yet to hear back.
Does anybody know who the member is on here? Haven't heard back yet and cant afford to replace the scope unless I get some warranty help![]()
I don't fancy your chances of getting warranty service on a Weaver. However here is your contact:

A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.
Ive spoken to a couple of people who have been recently paid out for warrenty claims on Weavers in the last couple of weeks, so unless you have some experience to share, I'll remain optimistic for now![]()
Failing that see if you can find the guy Rackshaw instruments I think he was called in Upper Hutt.
He sorted a weaver scope out for me for a very reasonable price.
Cheers
Rackstraw is the fellow.
Rackshaw was the conman also from Upper Hutt.
