Hello all, I am currently looking at purchasing a Weihrauch. Can anyone tell me, what essentially is the difference between to two models? I am leaning toward a .222 but I am a wee bit confused as to the two models. They seem quite nice and would go nicely with some other stuff I have. I am looking more as a collector than as a shooter.
I would appreciate any advice on this

I have a 60J in 22LR but haven't used it enough to make any in depth comments.
The main difference I think is that the 60J has a hog back stock and open sights, while the 66 has a straight stock and no open sights. Never seen a 66 in person, but would expect everything else to be identical.
Their actions are very very tight, in a good way. Surprising it has one of the most solid and precise half cock I have seen, rimfire or centrefire.
Thank u for your reply. Interesting to hear you say about the half cock. I shoot krico's and can honestly say I have never used a safety catch in my entire life. It’s half cock unless I am ready to pull the trigger. Krico have a nice definite half cock. My plastic m18 Mauser does not and it pisses me off. Thanks for the info re weihrauch. The stocks on the earlier HW 66 were not chequered where the latest ones I have seen have chequered pistol grips and forend.
