Nice
I had to send a PST back because the reticle would rotate when you wound the magnification.
At least they've got a good warranty![]()
On the other hand, I may have to upgrade it now.![]()
Welcome to Sako club.
What's going on there, is that an internal lens come astray?

Yep. Scope hasn't even been used in 12 months.
Took it out of storage to put on my brand new shorty AR build and "hey, what's that rattle?"
Have had to take a scope off another rifle now.
Welcome to Sako club.
I had a PST 1-4x, and just sold it, but it was perfect, no complaints.
Reason for selling was wanted more magnification.
Went to buy a new 2.5-10x32 FFP PST last weekend and when I zoomed down to 2.5 the entire lens was covered in hundreds of little black bits... hence it stayed in the store...
When you get a good one, they are good, but their QA is shit, but their customer service is 10/10.
Yep, a Diamondback, 4 years old.
Wasn't that impressed with that model really.
Lousy eye relief and quite a bulky scope for a 2-7.
No complaints with my x3 Spitfire though.

Oh hard case, i loved the first DB 4-12x40 that much, that i picked up another two of them. Looking at grabbing an Viper HS-T 4-16x44 now as well. Im impreseed with the glass and brightness at last light, and have been dialing them, and they are performing well. Great value for money ive been thinking, but ive had no issues....
Scope is back from Vortex, all fixed and refurbished.
Only took 3 weeks form the day I sent it.
So thumbs up to Vortex for customer service.![]()
Welcome to Sako club.
@dogmatix What model is it? Did they pay for the return shipping?
Already have an early model Diamondback but currently I am considering a Diamondback HP 4-16x42.
Anyone else got this model of Diamondback?
Thats what counts unless theres a pattern of faulty scopes. Theres plenty of leaupolds going back to be fixed as well as most brands of scopes at some point. Its just life, even the expensive ones theres always one thats going to have a problem. Long as its not becoming a big pattern and it gets sorted in a timely fashion you have to be happy....so big tick to Vortex!
