Were Winchester Featherweights sold in NZ in .223?

Have had a couple in 30-06 interested to know if they were sold in .223
If so would be interested in getting a hold of one.

My first centrefire rifle! Bought as new from Bronco's in Tauranga in 1989.
I had the Featherweight XTR short action .223,1-10 twist, beautifully finished little rifle.Only sold it because I wanted a LH bolt action.
Wonder where G1656446 is now...
Reloaders Supplies were pushing the Featherweights at that time,popular rifle so there's prolly still a few out there.

Yes. Saw one at Jack Lochyers in Taradale in 1975.The stock and barrel were pencil thin. Anaemic thin would better describe it.
