I can almost guarantee the Howa will be nicer to handle and the Tikka will fell like a lump in comparison which is funny because Tikka rifles are sold as being light. Just for reference, the Bush Hunter weights 2.6kg bare (I weighed it myself). Check out the flexibility of the forend on the Howa. Good luck and report back.

Forend is simple fix.ten seconds with sharp pocket knife n the synthetic Hogue will behave... Then when a few spare $ you fit std factory walnut and be forever happy.

Are you even talking about the same rifle? A superligjt with carbon stock? They're stiff as anything you'd have to really be swinging on it to try make the forend touch the barrel
