    Been doing the same myself, and it seems have got to the final decision and am now putting it all in place... Mine is based on a Ruger LA and the change will be from .270 to a .264Win Mag, about as good as it gets in 6.5, and being better metals these day should last me out, not doing 1000's of rounds, classic cal. capable of throwing 142g Nosler Accubonds down range at a little over 3000fps (maybe a bit more) with a BC .719... and 120g at over 3300fps...

    That's all very well but you still need to shoot something with it.
