About LinkBacksI go with the Barnaul FMJ stuff for plinking (about $12 for 20 from Reloaders). I bought 400 odd Barnaul soft point rounds thinking they'd be good for hunting but as the SKS doesn't have much of a feed ramp it just smashes the lead soft point and gets stuck every now and then.
The highland stuff I don't have trouble feeding it, but that's more hunting ammunition (and it's $25 for 20 I think).
Reloaders often don't have stock of the Barnaul as it gets bought up pretty quick, but it'd pay to give them a call and check.
