Thread: What is the actual process for sending a firearm

is there anywhere where the rules are plainly layed out for the rules behind buying and posting a firearm?

kaitaia police station wont even give me the form to fill out untill I provide them with

sellers name, sellers address, sellers phone number and sellers firearms number

seriously, they wont allow me to have this form till i provide this.

is my understanding correct that the form is for the seller to confirm that I do indeed have a firearms licence and they have confirmed this?
