What is the best aftermarket 10/22 barrel?

    Hi,
    Everything is in the title.
Willing to hear about your experiences and the kind of groups you get at 50m and beyond...
    Thanks.

    Why would you bother????

My 10/22 has had over 10,000 rounds thru it.......never had the barrel cleaned......and still shoots moa with the right ammo

I have three 22's and the cz and the savage will shoot moa and my standard 10/22 around two moa so quite a difference.
hence the cz and savage for target shooting and the 10/22 for fun(wasting ammo!)
My favorite sentences i like to hear are - I suppose so. and Send It!

The match type barrels usually have match cut chambers and wont function with some ammo . When you guys say moa . how many shots and what distance ? I assume 1" groups of 5 shots and 100m and I have found very few 22's that will do that . Rem 541T , Sako's and Anschutz and that is about it , and then only with the right optics Eley Tenex and no wind .

MOA to me means 1" at 100 yds

My 10/22 will shoot that on a still day, with good glass and match ammo. If I use Win powerpoints (which I do most of the time) that opens up to about 2 moa, which is still fine for bunnies out to about 130m, which is all I want it to do.

My advice would be, if you want to shoot sub moa with a .22lr get a bolt action and expect to pay $$$$ for match ammo

    Hi,
Thanks for the first few answers.
The reason I am asking is because I just bought that: PWS T3 Summit Action - T3 Rimfire Products

Supposed to be really good? I have no experience with them.

Why not sell the 10/22 and put the barrel towards a Magnum research 10/22?
