Thread: What can ( moderator) for Tikka T3 .243

I have a Tikka T3 in .243 cal.
Thinking of putting an over barrel can on to help with noise reduction.
Have looked at various posts to see if I need to shorten the barrel, and by how much. Don't want to lose accuracy on an already accurate rifle. Currently at 22. 7/16inch long. Using a VX3 CDS scope which has been set for 2940 ft/sec. Will shortening the barrel lower the current 2940 by much?
Have had Greg machine a safety half cock - brilliant!
