"I do not wish to be a pawn or canon fodder on the whims of MY Government"
paying almost $400 extra for from i can gather is a slighter fatter tube and 'tactical' slapped across it compared to the elite 6500 4.5-30x50
i looked thru the similar one and i have to say im not a fan of the knobs. it had a wiked recticle in it tho. the clicks were click but not real convincing

Bushnell Elite Tactical 3 12x44 First Focal Plane G2DMR Reticle Bus ET3124FG | eBay
thats the one I looked thru
A fatter tube gives more elevation adjustment, at least usually. Talks about better coatings, no advantage?
"I do not wish to be a pawn or canon fodder on the whims of MY Government"
does not seem to adjust that much further than a 30mm tube from what i can gather. you will be limited on rings as well.
get something like this on a 10 or 20moa rail. will elave you with change for both rail and rings.

If you don't get Dirt, Blood or Grease under your nails it ain't a hobby
What do you want to use it for Steven ??. I had one pretty similar in 6-24x50 elite tactical, be fine for hunting, but i found the crosshairs a little fat for serious rangework, you can buy a nightforce 8-32 or 12-42 benchrest for similar money
Top quality expensive item. I would import for sure. Take advantage while you can I rekon. NZ retailers have us by the balls.
