What does your suppressed huntimg rifle weigh?

Ive just changed stocks around on a couple of my Rem Model Sevens.

Which has worked out really well for both rifles.

Ive ended up with one of them feeling really light, so i had to weigh it.

So its a model 7 7mm08, bush pig style with a 4-12x40 scope and a DPT overbarrel suppressor.

Fully operable internal magazine with stock alloy hinged floor plate bottom metal.

Total weight, 2,808 grams scoped and suppressed.

Its so nice to carry and handle, it feels like a toy.

Your 308 is light, that ultra light scope certainly gets your weight down.

I could save a bit in the scope, but i do like a bit of mag for the longer pokes, im pretty happy with the weight it came out at for a bunch of cheap bits thrown together off trademe and the forum.

Yea that’s absolutely epic be a great carry in a moderate calibre that won’t rip your shoulder off being so light, mines 20” 168 vld at 2960 and is actually a none issue without a suppressor much to my surprise what stock did you end up with on the 708 mate

That weight is wicked @GWH must be such a pleasure to hunt with.

My Tikka 260 with factory stock, 19” fluted barrel and hardy compact suppressor, talley rings and Swaro Z5 3.5–18 incl fluted bolt comes in at about 3.5 - 3.6kg if I remember correctly. It drops a couple of hundred grams down to 3.2 - 3.3ish when in its carbon stock.

Excited to get my saum back and see what it’s going to weigh in at.
