This thread has made me realise my cheapo fish scales may not be as accurate as i thought. Great for bragging about the weight of the days catch, not so good if they inflate the weight of my rifles. Reading about near identical rifles as mine weighing a decent chunk less (some even with some rounds in the mag), means something is awry in my weight measurements.

I guess knowing the weight is something, but if you enjoy carrying it regardless of the figure, does it really matter that much?
