    I use both M24 and 2X. M24 produces about 310,000 lux or cd, while 2X produces about 360-370,000. 2X little bit bigger head and heavier at 310gm to M24's 270gm. Not much in it..
    I enjoy using either in field - both tons of power. If you've got an M24 and want to buy a second Maxtoch I'd suggest the 2X. Just for variety... they both do the job very well
