What model and what are they like? Has a stepped barrel.

At a guess, straight up sporterised milsurp Mauser, VZ24

That's what I was thinking too, I do like the mauser style actions though.

Depends how much you really want a 70-90 year old sporterised milsurp rifle of unknown history

I've got several made into sporting rifles. Ask the American gunsmiths what their favourite Mauser is to build sporting and big game rifles.

I have one here. Action is like new barrel is fucked from corrosion. Safety modded so can be used with scope.

It's a ZKK I'm after I think, used to have a BRNO .223 made in the 70s and it was great, wasn't sure if this was same model/era. Howa/Vanguard it is then.
