Lightbulb What range finder to buy before saving up for a bino-range finder

    Hello All

I'm looking for a cost-effective range finder as the interm solution before saving enough bucks for the Vortex Fury 5000.

The typical application would be measuring the distance to the gong up to 1200m for upcoming alpine precision matches.

    Do you have any recommendations?

    Cheers Ran

A secondhand Leica 1600, as it’ll do what you want and be worth the same money when you sell it.

I'm impressed with the Sig Saur Kilo 2000 I got.

    It's temporary so a SNDWAY.
Hell, even if it's not temporary a SNDWAY. They're not as waterproof as expensive finders but a zip lock bag solves that and their accuracy seems to be the same as $$$ range finders.

Bought a SNDWay as a temporary rangefinder. That was years ago.

Shipping seems to have improved a lot recently, back to near pre covid 2-4 weeks. The post covid 3 months was getting pretty frustrating however in the last 2 months I've ordered 6 items and 5 have arrived within 2-4 weeks

Will the SNDWAY reliability range to 1200m?

Another vote for SNDWAY. Unfortunately the lanyard piece of the body broke on mine, but blow away by the quality and reliability for price
