What rifle calibre (Red Stag Timber Hunter's Club)?

I was watching the Red Stag Timber Hunter's Club on TV last night.
The boys were knocking down a couple of Thar, and at one stage the view showed the ammo holder.
Geez...grunty looking ammo lurking in there. Certainly bigger than the almighty .270 or the even betterer .308!
Any of you know what sort of calibre was used? (That's caliber for our US friends).
    Thanks.

Could be...but those projectiles sure did look quite long. Was a lot of real estate back to the mouth of the case.

I'm guessing just from the general shape...300 PRC?
    Don't think it's 7mm Rem Magnum.
    Your thoughts?

Thread hijack - that thar that was wounded with the first shot?

Where did that bullet hit it, certainly it ran like it hadn’t been hit, not very often a wounded animal will run uphill like it did at one stage.

I reckoned on the 'slo-mo' that I saw it hit back too far.
