I was going to save this scope for a small rifle, 22 or 223, but maybe it would do the trick for a 308, at least for a start?

FOV on the 4-12 may be an issue in the bush but the Elite is a good scope. I had a 2.5--10 on my 270win for a few years without issues. It now lives on my 17HMR.
