About LinkBacksHowa .223 are a fine gun with the right ammo... old 50 cent piece has 5 holes at 200m with Hornady 55gr bulk pack ammo. Haven't been able to better it with hand loads. The Howa is a bit on the heavy side. Even heavier than the 30-06 in the same model. 1 in 12 twist so not much good for the bigger bullets.
