    @gundoc spec weapon is the guy I brought this rifle off he was telling me what was there and what wasn't
    Not sure how the savage comes into it maybe a very similar firing pin... @specweapon?

    That photo was from an Argentinian forum, the semi auto firing pin looked identical to the lever action but he semi auto picture was better so I posted that. The saurio looks very similar to the Savage as the rear receiver unscrews to remove everything. May be what the Saurio is based on

    Ah! I comprendo. The parts diagram shows the shape of the rear of the pin where it slots into the cylindrical hammer. An interesting design combining two different rifles from two different US manufacturers, then made in South America!

    yeah mate if you could ask them if they can ship here and what it would cost
    I think ill stay with getting one made I'm sure one of my 5 or 6 mates that are tool makers/fitterturners/cnc operators/gunsmiths should be able to sort it
    but its good to have a plan b

    Got an email back from them and said they won't ship outside of South America, so that's that option out, unless you wanted to have them send it to my Mrs old man in Montevideo and then he can send it to me?
