Yeh I know what you mean, I'd still love something nice and light though. Maybe its because my brother has a kimber montana! I've thought about getting a new scope (Swaro Z5) but for now I reckon I'll stick to the VXIII. I'm not too scared of the recoil, I've got my 300 WM and that doesn't bother me at all (it's in Sako bavarian and far too heavy for mountain hunting I've learnt!). I love practice and we have a long tailed rabbit over here that's great for it!
