    what is this stock off

    Hi all

I was helping my Nan clean out some of grandads stuff today and she gave me this rifle stock. grandad surrended his license a few years before he dies and handed in the working parts of this rifle. I am just in the process of getting my license and when i get it i would love to find the action for this stock.

All i know is that it is a bolt action .22lr rifle, with a box magazine. there are no markings on the stock. it has a hard plastic butt plate. any help appreciated. it also has a sticker just in frontName: 028.jpg

I think the Lakefield 22 became the Savage Mk2 when they bought Lakefield, so you might find a Savage fits that stock.
