Thread: What are these rounds?

Sorry to be the party pooper guys but I believe they are Speer 100 gr Plinkers. The Hornady appear to be more pointy.
I bought a box many many years ago (£ s d) to try in my 308. Accuracy was terrible. I think they were produced to suit the M1 Carbine.

Dead right Zimmer,
Speer 100 grain plinkers. I still have some. They are a different shape to the Hornady version. Loaded some for my .308 years ago, shot OK but no where near anything else. Tried some 110 grain Speer Varminters as well, shot better but as before.
