You would need to spend more than $300 for a sound meter capable of measuring suppressor performance. You would be looking in the thousands.

There is a video in the planning stages that will compare NZ suppressors with laboratory grade equipment. The test will be a first of its kind comparing all suppressors in a controlled environment on a single gun. It will finally put to rest all the conjecture about which suppressor is best. Best bang for buck will be interesting
