    If you want a genuinely light rifle you have to accept the small gains everywhere and add them up, and start from a light base action. Can't generally get a super light rifle just by changing one thing although stock is often the single biggest saving (e.g. Model 7 plastic stocks are approx 12 kilograms and a stug is 600gm)
