Some companies like Sako and Cz make full size stocks in a range of calibres.
Are you looking at using iron sights if you go down the milsurp track?
K98 iron sights and actually mausers in general (Ive got to include the Swedes) Ive got to say, suck. Although some people may disagree with me.
A mismatching numbers full stock No 4 would probably tick more of the boxes overall.
