I'm picking 1/2" x 28 TPI
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.
I would say it's metric 13 x 1.......there are only 9 threads over 9.23mm not 10. Easily get an error of 0.23mm measuring like that......you should be using a thread pitch gauge.
The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese....
Yep 13 x 1 I reckon. To big on the OD for 1/2".
13x1
Pm address and I’ll send a thread gauge to save for future reference.

What they said - 13 x 1
I'm in the 13x1 camp as well.
PS for my industry that's odd. any metric thread with and odd number OD is a flag to double check.

Cheers for that guys
Hardy cut the thread for the original rifle which was a model 7.
I guess they cut as big a thread possible in the skinny barrel.
I had thought it was 14x1 but the dimensions didn't stack up even though it looked to be a x1mm thread as it doesn't seem to match up with any imperial threads.
13x1 it must be
